A very quick doodle-up for a friend's tattoo. I was asked to come up with something representing the element 'earth.' The sketch and inks took about 20min. - about 30min on the quick digi-color. I like it's simplicity and the ink-work, so I thought I'd share.

I definitely like the simple graphic style of it. I'm not sure if it was intended, but I get a very "Japanese' feel from it. The tree sort of looks like a bonsai, and the red circle, especially with the beams screams "Japanese Flag."
