Sketched this fellow over the weekend. I am really happy with his head. His left arm is very poorly done, and I didn't care to finish out his boots - which also look a bit off. I could have gotten fancier with his sword as well...

This cowgirl I started at a Skuntch last week with a crimson red Verithin. I was happy with it overall, with the exception of her feet. I took it home and darkened it with a regular crimson Prisma pencil, adding some strange (and horribly incorrect) chaps to help cover her feet. I like it a bit more now... :P

LOVE these.
It was great getting to see them in person today as well.
Even though the chaps are a fix and an afterthought as you said --- I think they actually have a cool & unique design to them... like they're just part of her pants that button to her boots on the sides or somesuch.

I think she's hot! I also like the funky shape of the chaps. I'd wear 'em! But her boots should be pointy. Real cowgirls wear pointy boots...
