July 2010 Life Drawing part 1

Here is a sampling of life drawing from earlier this month. These are 3 - 10 min drawings except for the first which was a couple of hours. Conte crayon on newsprint. I kinda butchered the top one when I started drawing over it with white Conte. I should have left well enough alone. Ah well...:)

I like the angular qualities in these sketches. I can get a sense of your construction technique - are you feeling around the form enough - from one side to the other? Very fun.

top one looks pretty healthy for having been 'butchered'. lol

yes these are angular-luscious. Though I have heard reccomended to use more 'curves' and less edges on female forms...

all a matter of preference though ;^^

can't wait for next batch!
