Here's today's doodle.  I started out wanting to make his mouth creepy, although I didn't really follow through, so it ended up about halfway there.  3 hours start to finish, no reference again because i'm lazy.

Here's ol' frankie.  I was thematically inspired by the ones that Jim and Samson posted, although mine went a different route.  Maybe next time I'll try something a little more exaggerated and stylized.  Somewhere around 7 or 8 hours.

I've been playing with the new mudbox demo, it's awesome so far.  here's a first pass on an angry head.  I have some texture work in progress, but i'll save that for another post.
