Just Finished this- Probably spent way too much time on it for it to end up monochromatic. perspective its pretty ganked too, but I`m overall pretty pumped.

Another power plant

It seems that this topic generator likes power plants. Had fun with this, not really trying to time myself. It came out ok. I could have been more creative witht he factory, and I'm not happy with the giant green blob on the right hand side. I feel like i learned a bit and played around with some techniques I haven't done before. About 60 minutes.

This was supposed to be 35 minutes..it ended up being about 70. I tried a few options for the shield that ended up not working out. I had fun though.

Don't really know what happened with the weird slimy pinkish tentacles, enjoy anyway though-

I also did a gif of my layers. they aren't in order as i tend to slip some layers under others sometimes

Couple o' doodles

Here are a few things i was toying around with.

Today has been interesting so far... I woke up at 5:45 so i could be up and ready to go do community service at 7:00. I get all ready to go, and because it's so cold my car won't start at all. I call a cab, they don't show up. I call them an hour later and they say they are still trying to get someone for me. here I am, about an hour after that and still no cab. I may give up on community service today, but at least I got some painting in.


Somehow both of these ended up crazy and colorful.

Demon with a drill. I intended to render it more, but I went nuts with gradients and layer effects instead and am reasonably happy with the results. (moved to following post)

Insomania digital life drawing

Ray and I arrived late to this pose and it was getting progessively colder in the short time we were there... she started nude, but then shortly put on a jacket and within minutes whe went on a break from which she never returned... would've liked at least 15 more minutes with this one...

First Skuntch of '07

Lap-topped this one at Skuntch... Erik aptly deemed it "Archers in the Precipice" because the up-angle of the arrow bothered him on a seemingly flat battle field. :)

Insomania Life Drawing

Yay! Blogging! This is the pastel piece I did at Insomania... I only did one other piece upstairs (digitally) and will post that soon too...

Sketched this fellow over the weekend. I am really happy with his head. His left arm is very poorly done, and I didn't care to finish out his boots - which also look a bit off. I could have gotten fancier with his sword as well...

This cowgirl I started at a Skuntch last week with a crimson red Verithin. I was happy with it overall, with the exception of her feet. I took it home and darkened it with a regular crimson Prisma pencil, adding some strange (and horribly incorrect) chaps to help cover her feet. I like it a bit more now... :P

A little mess-around at work today. I am having fun saving the progress of these digital sketches. I don't know if they benifit anyone else, but whatever, eh?
